What are All-on-4 dental implants?

All-on-4 implants consist of four titanium implants (screws) embedded in the jaw at strategic locations along the arch. A bridge is screwed onto the implants to create the appearance of natural teeth. This is an excellent solution for tooth loss, with the surgical procedure lasting less than 2 hours per jaw. The entire process (from implant placement to the temporary bridge) takes one day.

What is the All-on-4 procedure?

MB Dent uses the most advanced technology and the safest medical methods during dental procedures and implant placements. Accordingly, All-on-4 dental implants are performed as follows:

A CBCT scan is necessary to assess the bone condition. If the patient has sufficient bone, then the surgeon will start the process of implanting the implants in the exact positions needed for the prosthetic work (bridge). Later, a temporary bridge is placed so the patient is not without teeth during the healing period.

A healing process of 4-5 months is required. Once the implants and gum have healed, the surgeon will remove the temporary bridge and place the permanent prosthetic work. Implant placement can be performed under local or general anesthesia, depending on the patient’s condition.

Who are candidates for All-on-4 implants?

Patients who have advanced periodontal disease and those who have lost multiple teeth in one jaw, and the remaining teeth have damages that cannot be repaired (trauma, inflammatory processes, large cavities,…)
